1). Zinc: the most easy to die cast metal, manufacturing small parts is very economic, easy to coating, compressive strength, high plasticity, long casting life.

2). Aluminum: Light weight, high dimensional stability, strong corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties, high thermal and electrical conductivity, high strength at high temperature

3). Magnesium: easy to carry out mechanical processing, strength to weight ratio is high, commonly used die casting metal is the lightest.

4). Copper: high hardness, strong corrosion resistance, commonly used die casting metal mechanical performance is the best, wear resistance, strength close to steel.

5). Lead and tin: high density, high dimensional precision, can be used as special anti-corrosion parts. Due to public health concerns, the alloy cannot be used as a food processing or storage device. Alloys of lead, tin and antimony (sometimes with a little copper) are used to make hand type in letterpress printing and for gilding.
